In my 9-5 I'm a diversity, inclusion and culture leader who is on a personal mission to change the corporate world, challenging the norms around how great cultures should be built and infused to make safe, truly diverse workplaces. What drives me is the opportunity to explore thoughtful people focused strategies that address systemic barriers and build team member experiences that help redistribute power from an equity lens. I center those living with marginalized identities, all while teaching those in positions of influence to understand their privilege and how to really do the work to advance equity.

Outside my work, I lean deeply into mentorship, community development and anchor what I do to advance how all of us from equity deserving groups show up in the world to take up all the space we desire and deserve. I am also a proud first generation, Pakistani-Canadian Muslim who lives, works and plays in Treaty 7 territory.
